Now my church has a better understanding of the roles we need to play — turning believers into disciples and being sent out to care for the community. We are glorifying God by practicing love in our community. After joining the 7979 Relief Network, our church became more open to helping the needy in our community, not like in the old days, when our activities were confined to the four walls of the church. This has created a platform for brothers and sisters to practice loving God by loving others.
HISTEAM wishes to improve our partnership with churches, through training, encouragement, awareness events, caring and praying. We are also looking into regional churches networking in order to make our ministry more impactful. Kuantan Glory Grace Presbyterian Church needs more committed leaders, disciple more potential social workers and Christians with good testimonies.

Sister Choong's ministering reflection
Young Sis. Fen Lan took up the role of companionship class teacher, minimal allowance does not stop her from serving God. Although there were tearful moments of struggle, with God’s mercy, she was able to complete her Social Concern Certificate Course. Being part of this extra-mile ministry has strengthened her will and taught her to look up to God. We look forward to seeing her bloom.
