​Following latest development of the COVID-19 epidemic and government's extension of MCO announced last night, 7979 calls on all parties to comply with MCO and government directives, so that together we can curb further mass outbreaks which would otherwise paralyse the entire medical systems.  Although we have to stop working and social gathering, offering care and services must CONTINUE especially to the vulnerable group who are worst impacted. 
We want to remind our partner churches and volunteers to implement following three principles outlined in :- 
We urge you to continue offering care and assistance to the families you are now serving and also other vulnerable groups around you (such as OKU, elderly people living alone, poor households, migrant workers etc).
Histeam together with its 7979 staff will stand by you and continue to offer holistic and practical support. 
At the same time, we will establish caring network with WHATSAPP groups in various regions so that churches, NGOs, sponsors and volunteers can collaborate to care for one another, exchange relevant information or seek support at this very trying moment.  In addition, allowing resources and manpower to be appropriately allocated to meet various needs, thereby exerting the influence of the caring network.
